A connection to the ocean defines the culture and traditions of Ocean Park. After all, it’s in the name. The Crescent Beach Swimming Club, now British Columbia’s oldest swim club, began over a century ago instructing swimmers of every age.
Today, it’s a multi-sport group that includes sailing, paddle boarding, water polo and even some land-based activities like tennis, pickleball and volleyball. Join the crowds to cheer on kids as they “Swim the Tank” in the open ocean every year.

Ocean Park is a mature neighbourhood complete with restaurants, cafés, pubs, shops, groceries and more.
Perched up high, but close to the ocean, Rockford offers access to beaches, parks, and seaside strolls. The zig zag wooden stairs at 1001 Steps leads to a secret beach with amazing ocean views. Blackie Spit and Crescent Beach to the north and White Rock Beach and Pier to the south. You can walk for an hour in either direction and still be by the ocean side.
Crescent Park is a 128-acre greenspace just a five minute drive away. There are playgrounds for kids, baseball fields, pickleball and tennis courts, and miles and miles of wooded walking trails.
